Genesee Valley Council on the Arts is proud to present the Statewide Community Regrant, formally called the Decentralization Grant. It was as developed by New York State Council on the Arts to ensure that New York State’s cultural funding reaches every part of the state. SCR has since become one of the Council’s most effective means of making arts support available to geographically, economically, and ethnically diverse segments of the state’s population.

Grant Seminars are held to educate potential applicants on the in and outs of the three grant types, and process. Grants are made in the amount of $500-$5,000 and fall into one of three categories: Arts in Education, Individual Artists, and Community Art grants.
