Deadline September 30, 2023

Organizations and individuals are warmly invited to exhibit, fee-free, at Writers & Books’ inaugural Rochester Reads Book Festival. Our primary goal is bringing greater Rochester communities together through the shared experience of literature. The festival builds on our successful 22-year history of delivering Rochester Reads, a one-book program launched in 2001 with Ernest Gaines’ award-winning novel A Lesson before Dying. This year, our keynote speaker at The Strong Museum on Thursday, October 26, is MacArthur “genius” N.K. Jemisin, Hugo Award-winning author of our featured novel The City We Became. Jemisin has been called by The New York Times “the most celebrated science fiction and fantasy writer of her generation.”
