This competition/show will showcase the landscape (and cityscape) paintings of submitting artists. Your painting may be of any landscape anywhere in the world. It may be realistic, impressionistic, or entirely imaginary.  The show will hang at Pittsford Fine Art between 10/5/22 and 11/4/22.

All painting mediums are accepted in sizes up to a maximum of 16” x 20” (including frame).   The work must be framed or gallery-wrapped and ready to hang.    All submitted paintings must have been completed within the last year.

Professional artists may submit up to two pieces into the show at $25 per painting.

Student artists may submit up to two pieces into the show at $10 per painting.

All submitted paintings which pass the initial jury process will be hung in our beautiful North Gallery for the duration of the show provided they conform to size and subject matter rules. Pittsford Fine Art will receive a 35% commission for all art sold during the show. Paintings may be submitted as Not For Sale.

Pittsford Fine Art members are NOT eligible to compete. A select subset of gallery members will jury the show for acceptance and awards.

Competition Awards:

A grand prize of $500 will be awarded to the best in show painting.   This painting will also be featured on Pittsford Fine Art’s website for the show duration.

Additional cash prizes (TBA) for both Professional and Student entries will be awarded.
