Rehearsals will be starting soon for our October 24th concert “A Time For Celebration”. We’ll start selling tickets in a couple of weeks. We have a very few vacancies in the cello and bass sections, so if you know any accomplished musicians who would like to audition to play with one of the finest local orchestras in this region, tell them to apply on our website.

Auditions for the Penfield Symphony Orchestra are held throughout the season, as necessary. Please complete this form to inquire about openings for your instrument, as well as to request an audition.  Auditions are held with the Music Director, the Personnel Manager, and the appropriate the Section Leader.  You will be contacted by the personnel manager if there are openings in the section.

Note: The Penfield Symphony Orchestra Membership is comprised of musically skilled volunteer musicians. Only the Music Director and Concertmaster are paid positions. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings, September – May.
