Rochester Area Community Foundation Initiatives is partnering with New York State Council on the Arts to provide this special grant opportunity to amplify its outreach to nonprofits throughout Greater Rochester. Any nonprofit that has not received NYSCA funding in the last four years may apply for funding for an arts-related proposal to be completed in 2022.

Of particular interest are projects that:

• Provide new opportunities for the community’s engagement with the arts;
• Offer access to arts and cultural opportunities in otherwise underserved communities;
• Celebrate or promote the region’s rich racial/cultural diversity; or
• Demonstrate collaboration with other arts organizations in the region.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations or 509(a)(1) public organizations in our eight-county region, which comprises Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties.
