The FairGame Arts Grants provide support to arts and culture organizations for projects in the three regions represented by FairGame and determined by the New York State Gaming Commission (Capital, Southern Tier, and Catskills). The goals of the grant program are to:
A. Support organizations that produce or present arts programming.
B. Expand opportunities for residents and visitors of these regions to experience the arts.
Eligibility
Eligible Applicants:
Non-profits with a 501 (c) 3 or a New York State Charities Registration Letter. Organizations with budgets of $1.5 million or less with a primary purpose to create or present arts or cultural programs; including libraries. Projects in all arts disciplines are eligible including music, theater, dance, film/video, literary, and visual arts.
Ineligible Applicants:
Individuals, colleges and universities, municipal departments, schools, non-arts organizations.
Geographic Restrictions:
Organizations must be based in one of the following counties in New York State of the FairGame regions:
Capital Region: Albany, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Washington
Catskill Region: Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, Ulster.
Southern Tier Region: Broome, Chemung, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, Yates.
